I can’t wait to be back in the middle of the mountains ⛰️🥾🌲☀️

In less than two weeks I’m headed back out to Colorado for my 11th half marathon - starting at Loveland Ski Area & making my way to Georgetown! It’s one of my favorite trips every June!

Excited to hike some new trails, meet up with friends, have some amazing food & cool mountain mornings 🤍

We tried:

Oaxacan OF - like an old-fashion but better!
Jade Jaguar - loved this one with cilantro, refreshing!
El Chango - rated #1 cocktail - mezcal & coconut 😋
& the last cocktail was Mezcal-based & not on the menu. The bartender just made it up!

Chips & Guac + bar nuts were 10/10!!

Don’t skip what I like to call one of the prettiest drives in Colorado - this is Loveland Pass! 🤍

I’ve lost count how many times I have driven up this pass just to take the in the view. The sky goes on forever, the mountain peaks are beautiful, and if you’re into hiking, there is that too. But I will warn you, Mt Sniktau is a beast 🥾🏔️😜

Just past the pass on the right side of the road is Pass Lake! It’s the perfect spot for a picnic or just relaxing!

The weather here can also change in an instant, so just keep track of that if you plan to visit! 🌧️💨

Watching it on repeat, always 🐚☀️🌊

The Florida Springs are Magical ✨🌿💦

This is Kelly Park & Rock Springs ☀️ - where you can swim, tube, camp, paddle, & hang out all day!

Tubing at Rock Springs - no rentals on site, however, there is a spot just outside of the park or you can bring your own noodle as long as it’s no more than 5 feet in length! 👙

Kayak, Canoe, or Paddle Board at Camp Joy - launch from 8am - 12pm 🛶

The park is a first come first serve basis so once it’s full, they’ll let you know! Go early!! 🪱

Lake Tahoe, Secret Cove Beach [nude beach]

🥾You must hike to get to this amazing spot but it’s so worth it! Arrive early as the parking lot fills up fast! No kiddos as this is a nude beach! 🐶 Doggies allowed!

Booth Falls, Vail Colorado

4.0 miles out & back with a 1325 ft elevation gain 🥾

There is no parking at the trailhead but there is a free shuttle in Vail 🚌

Remember to leave no trace & leave the wildflowers in the wild 🌸

Blue Lakes Trail 🥾🏔️

3.8 mile out & back trail located close to Breckenridge. There is limited parking at Lower Blue Lake - no reservations required!

You will hike around two gorgeous lakes - Lower & Upper and when reaching Upper Blue you will be at the basin below Quandary Peak & its GORGEOUS! Be prepared to see wildflowers, wildlife, & amazing mountain & lake views 💙

We hiked here late June 2025 and had no issues but be sure to check weather conditions!

Also, don’t pick the flowers, don’t litter, & for the love … don’t try & pet the animals 😜
